Summer and tan go hand in hand. Avoiding a tan in summers is quite impossible. Tanning is a result of exposure of your skin to the ultraviolet radiation from the sun, that results in darkening of your skin. Here are a few easy tips and tricks to get rid of that tan.
Tomato and yogurt
They are an amazing combo to get the tan of your skin. Take a small portion of tomato pulp and two spoons of yogurt. Mix the paste well. Apply the paste over the infected area, leave it for 20 to 30 minutes and wash it off. Repeat the process every day depending on the intensity of the tan.
Lemon juice and potato juice
Citrus is always good for your skin. Take the juice from a medium-sized potato. Add one tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix them well and apply it on to your skin. Leave it on for 30 minutes and wash with luke warm water. You will see an instant change in your skin texture.
Turmeric and milk
As we all know turmeric has a lot of medicinal properties. It heals wounds and helps remove the tan. Take two spoons of turmeric and add one tablespoon of milk. Mix the mixture well so that it forms a paste-like texture and apply it on your face like a face mask. Leave the mask to dry. Scrub your face well to remove the mask and you will get clean, bright and happy skin.
