An Evening full of Glitz and Glamour with Ramesh Dembla, Samyakk and Nitin Singh
The opening was by Samyakk with their beautiful bridal collection designed by Sweta Chowrasya. The collection was a mix of everything good! As we were blinded by the beautiful Rhinestone lehanga’s but also there were elements of Velvet and Gorget in the collection! We also observed silk embroidery in the collection. The models walked with a strong attitude and the choreography was perfectly done by none other than Mr Ramesh Dembla, who not only produced and choreographed the show, but also showcased his collection “Krishna Dembla” named after his son this particular evening.
Samyakk Collection
We couldn’t get over the bridal collection just yet, surprised by a dance act along with the Groom’s collection by Nitin Singh with the perfect song “ghoomar” for the collection as the male models looked grand and walked like a Royal. The crowd got astonished by the entry Auchitya Thakur – Mr. universe India 2016. He perfectly showcased the collection in the best possible way. The collection included mainly blacks and greens with the showstoppers wearing a floral embellished coat.
Nitin Singh Collection
The evening lit up even more with the special act by Krishna Dembla and Nasim. They performed a romantic number “Lal ishq” and Krishna as the name suggests definitely stole our heart away. It was so good that on public demand they performed the number once again at the end of the show!
Lastly, the star show by Ramesh Dembla were all blacks and astonishingly beautiful red and black jewel embellishments. We actually went into nostalgia when the collection reminded of how sarees were once a major part of the Bollywood industry and how famous actresses like Aishwarya Rai Bachan rocked it back in the day. We would love to see more collection by Ramesh Dembla as the audience were so excited and happy. The audience applauded the entire team with a standing ovation. DM production was the main reason the show was so smooth and with Kingfisher ultra as the sponsor for the after party provided the perfect ending to the evening.
