The Amrapali house, a landmark name that evokes India’s royal heritage and unparalleled pristine craftsmanship, has reappeared in a lavish re-launch, celebrating its illustrious history yet refreshing it with a contemporary sensibility. Famously known for its hand-crafted silver jewellery and museum-quality pieces, Amrapali’s rebirth is nothing less than spectacular.
Statement jewellery paired with tribal-inspired accessories
Organized in the midst of a backdrop reminiscent of royal yesteryears and modern-day glamour, the re-launch was an ode to the very essence of the brand, where heritage meets craftsmanship. Stunning showcases of precious pieces, ranging from richly embellished frames to heirloom-style necklaces and dramatic earrings, told volumes of Amrapali’s time-honored affinity for Indian culture and temple design.

The creations exhibited the unique core of Amrapali, the artistic heritage of Amrapali. One of the highlight pieces was a hand-made photo frame intricately decorated with enamel, semi-precious stones, and mythological symbolism such as parrots, lotuses, and tribal masks. They’re a trendsetting force that has started the ornate photo frames.

This marriage of age-old storytelling and painstaking craftsmanship defined what Amrapali is all about—India’s eternal soul reinterpreted as wearable art.
The featured collections, handpicked from heritage motifs and contemporary inspirations, showcased the dexterity of Indian craftsmanship. Jaipur’s royal heritage-inspired designs shone under gallery lights, as event footage documented the painstakingly slow labour of love that went into each piece—the hammering, polishing, and setting laboriously accomplished by human hands.

Amrapali’s re-launch was not merely about re-launching jewellery; it was rekindling cultural pride. The show was a visual odyssey of the label’s journey—from a boutique in Jaipur to an internationally recognized one, gracing royalty, Bollywood legends, and international fashionistas alike.
