Students of JD Institute recently participated in National Jewellery Awards, 2022 organised by All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council.

In the NJA 2022, many aspiring jewellery designers participated across the nation. The selection process consisted of multiple stages, after which the designers were given multiple tasks. The jediiians who participated excelled and reached till the last penultimate stage from where they were just a step away from getting a national level recognition.
On 23rd September, 2022 the grand finale of National Jewellery Awards took place at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. Jediiian Amrita Rauniyar who is pursuing her Bachelors in Fashion and Apparel Design was nominated for the ‘Student of the Year Award’.
Her design inspiration was constellation sign Scorpian, which she illustrated with a beautiful jewellery design for her final round. With her unique design idea, the brilliant jediiian and future stellar designer received the ‘Student of the Year Award’ at NJA, 2022.
Aspiring designer Amrita hails from Kathmandu Nepal and is looking forward to pursuing the illustration career. Her victory at NJA, 2022 showcases the beautiful synchrony between the Fashion and Jewellery department of the institute.
