Fuzia, an online networking community and a global platform to showcase one’s talent and skills like stories, blogs, poetry, fashion, articles, photographs, videos or art and craft. It is a venture of Open Growth Media and focuses on building theme base media properties to attract global talent networks. The community is for those who support Women empowerment, feminism, equality and mutual upliftment. They support women’s happiness through 6 elements, which is garnering relationships and friendships, education, engagement and activities, wellness, charity and giving back, lastly financial independence. It was started as a writing club by an 11-year-old girl called Riya Sinha, who is also the founder. In 2012 Shraddha Varma who is also the Co-founder joined in 2015. The community has now gained 50,000+ members on Social Media.
From an online networking community and a talent showcasing platform, it has now become a full-fledged organization run by women through creative support and unique crafts. The community nurtures the creative ability of young women who are the leaders of tomorrow. This startup also helps women empower financially, mentally and try to find happiness in their success. The community also nurtures talent of women through live sessions, campaigns, webinars, contests and workshops, which is held now because of the ongoing Pandemic. This initiative helps them develop their skills and grow enormously.
The community has been featured and awarded by many platforms like “Iconic Teen Entrepreneur and Innovator” at Women Economic Forum and has been invited to TED Sonoma County and the Co-founder Shraddha Varma received “Young leader creating a better world” award in 2018. The organization has touched and changed millions of lives through their initiatives and have always believed in the ‘Voice of youth” and the power of out-of-the-box creativity. The campaigns and contests where women participated provided them with training and career opportunities in their area of interest and expertise.
