It is exactly that kind of spot—where you walk in, settle into your seat, and instantly feel like you can stay a while. With its classy interiors, warm lighting, and an atmosphere that’s both comfortable and chic, the space invites you to relax and enjoy the moment without any rush.
The ambience at Woodside Inn plays a big role in the overall experience. It’s polished but not pretentious, stylish yet welcoming. Whether you’re meeting friends after a long day, heading out for a casual date, or simply looking for a comfortable place to unwind, the setting fits effortlessly. Conversations feel easier here, and the mood encourages you to slow down and enjoy what’s on the table.

We began with cocktails that set the tone for the evening. Beat the Heat was refreshing and light, just what its name promises, while the Fruit Punch was fruity, vibrant, and easy to sip. Both drinks worked well as a relaxed start and paired nicely with the laid-back vibe of the space.

The starters were where things truly came alive. The Avo-Cuddle stood out with its creamy guacamole mousse, crumbled feta, and a touch of sweetness from the plum compote, all served on a country-style sourdough slice. It was fresh, comforting, and full of flavour. The Truffle Parmesan Fries were crisp, indulgent, and generously seasoned, making them hard to resist. The buttermilk fried chicken tenders were another highlight—golden, juicy, and paired with a bold bang bang sauce that added just the right amount of spice.

When it came to the mains, the pizzas did not disappoint. The Primavera Pizza was fresh and colourful, topped with roasted vegetables that made it light yet satisfying. The Pesto Grilled Chicken Pizza brought together basil pesto, mozzarella, roasted tomatoes, and olive tapenade for a rich and comforting bite. A great feature here is the option to split a pizza into two flavours, making it perfect for sharing and trying a variety.

The spaghetti with sundried tomato pesto and pulled burrata was comforting and well-balanced, with the burrata adding a creamy finish that elevated the dish.

To end the meal, the Matcha Tres Leches offered a soft, delicately flavoured dessert that wasn’t overly sweet—just the right way to finish.
Woodside Inn delivers more than just excellent food. It offers comfort, warmth, and an experience that feels easy and familiar, making it a place you’ll want to return to for many evenings to come.
