The Oberoi, Bengaluru Welcomes Mandarin Oriental Chefs for Open Fireside Dining Experience

Bengaluru: As part of Oberoi Hotels & Resorts’ ongoing alliance with the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, The Oberoi, Bengaluru welcomes chefs from Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi for an exclusive fireside dining pop-up at The Polo Club.

Timely collaborations across a range of initiatives allow both organisations to work closely together, to exchange expertise and mutually curate exclusive events not only for Oberoi One members and Fans of MO, but for all guests at their hotels.

Australian-born Chef Jack Jarrot leads the visiting team from Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi to The Polo Club. Having trained under Chef Gordon Ramsey in his London restaurants, Chef Jack relocated to the UAE and pioneered the open-fire dining concept at Sucre in Dubai. Sucre has been recognised in the Michelin Guide for the last four consecutive years.

The Polo Club at The Oberoi, Bengaluru is a sophisticated space that unfolds into an elegant veranda embraced by the hotel’s lush gardens. This serene oasis in the heart of the city is an incomparable setting for fireside dining and seasonal cocktails in the city’s temperate autumn weather.

Chef Jack’s specially curated menu at The Polo Club features smoked and charred seafood, unique meat cuts and grilled skewers prepared live under the stars in the beautiful grounds of The Oberoi, Bengaluru. Highlights include Roasted Mix Tomato & Stracciatella, Alaskan King Crab Leg, Grilled Japanese Octopus Salad, Roasted Bottle Gourd with Gondhoraj Lemon Chermoula and Confit Australian Lamb Shoulder with Yam Purée. These dishes capture the art and beauty of ‘fire’ cooking that enhances light, fresh flavours from the highest quality ingredients.
