The new store’s strategic location in the Mall of Asia, a premium shopping destination presents a lucrative opportunity to expand the brand’s presence in the region. The new Activist Workshop store further builds on its emphasis on sustainability and social change through other aspects. Its RRR (Return, Recycle, Repeat) approach, for instance, allows customers to easily recycle packaging from products by returning them to the store. The store, remaining true to the eco-friendly ethos, also has sustainable fixtures. From reclaimed wood and recycled plastics in the fixtures to the aluminium facade (a low-energy, endlessly recyclable material). Even the worktops are made from 100% recycled materials, keeping waste out of landfills. This commitment extends beyond the store walls – over 70% of packaging is fully recyclable.

Further, The Body Shop has established an activism hub, a gifting station, and a bestseller bay, ensuring an immersive experience for customers.
