The Second Edition of Mr & Miss Icon India culminated in style at Bengaluru Marriot Hotel, Whitefield. A National Beauty Pageant, Mr and Miss Icon India, headed by Rio Production, a renowned modelling and film institute declared the winners of Mr and Miss Icon India, who will now represent India at Best Icon Model International, by Rio Production.
Megha was crowned winner in the Girls category, with Sneha Saikia as the 1st runner up and Anika Muniraju as the 2nd runner up. In the Boys category, Suheb Pasha was declared the winner, while Swapnil was the 1st runner up and Shaikh Nawaz was the 2nd runner up.
The pageant was divided into regional competitions, where four zones – South comprising candidates from Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Mr and Miss Icon India East comprising participants from Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim, Mr and Miss Icon India North with candidates from Jammu Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Mr and Miss Icon India North East comprising candidates from Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Assam and Mr and Miss Icon India West with candidates from Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan competed for the coveted Mr and Miss Icon India title. The grand finale on March 1, witnessed 15 boys and 15 girls competing for the main title.
CEO M. Shankar, the founder and creator and also the international director of the pageant alongwith Mrs Ranjini Shankar Co-Director of Rioproduction and Gayathri Suresh, national director of the pageant, Sujeesh Shanmughan, pageant consultant and catwalk trainer of the event were at the helm of affairs at the grand finale event. The other guests included Priyanka Tiwari, Srinidhi V, Ranjith Kumar and Dolly Mihirayan Bordoloi. The Guests of Honour were Pradeep Kumar, Deepali Bhatt, Dr. Elizabeth, Anirudh S Dutt, MG Srinivas, Arvind Venkatesh Reddy, Diwas Kaushik, Sheela Yogeshwar, Ashik Gowda, Karun Mutha, Megha Shetty and Christopher Raju. The Grand Jury who selected the winners included Miss India World 2018 & Miss India Miss fashion icon 2018. Anukreety Vas, Dr. Mamatha Devraj, yoga expert and social activist, Celebrity Fashion Designer Rajesh Shetty, master teacher at Akshara Yoga, Jatin Soni, Co-Director Mr & Ms. Icon India, National Director of Little Icon India, Ranjani, Fashion Photographer & Filmmaker, Lucky Malhotra, Celebrity Fashion Designer, Pankaj Soni and designer & entrepreneur Asra Sayed.
