Popular for its authentic Japanese food and warm service, EDO has always been one of city’s most loved restaurants. The new concept promises to bring Japan’s popular izakaya dining culture to Bengaluru with small plates served in a relaxed seating. The Menu – Expect The Unexpected
The menu at EDO is traditional Japanese but not in the way most know it. It highlights dishes that offer a deeper, more textural take on the cuisine. Expect yaki nasu (charred eggplant with miso), tsukemono (seasonal pickles), kinoko miso soup, sweet potato tempura, or a subtle Japanese curry. Skewers from the robata are blistered to perfection, ramen arrives light but layered and set meals honour the clean elegance of a midday lunch done right. At the all-new EDO Restaurant and Bar, food becomes an art in motion as the live sushi, robatayaki counter, Tepanyaki and the bar showcase the after-work culture of Japan.
The Beverage Story
The beverage menu presents a selection of premium concoctions each derived from the story of trending and popular Japanese anime. From Giyo Tomioka to Naruto, every pour highlights the characteristics of Japan’s iconic manga stories. There will also be a range of authentic Japanese premium beverages to create an immersive dining experience. Edo’s new avatar brings alive the joy of dining and drinking through rhythm, fun and flow. It combines culinary precision with the culture of conversation in an eclectic ambience.
