This January, Fielia (above Soraia) sets the stage for something Mumbai hasn’t quite experienced before — its first-ever Supper Theatre, a new dining format where every course arrives with a story, every pour has a plot twist and the night unfolds like a beautifully directed performance.

For its debut chapter, Fielia brings to the city Chef Avinash Martins, one of India’s most exciting culinary storytellers, known for his distinct style of modern Goan cuisine, built on memory, instinct, and a deep respect for ingredients. Across two exclusive evenings — 24th and 25th January 2026 — guests will be invited into a 7-course supper theatre experience, paired with two signature cocktails, designed to flow like a narrative: intimate, indulgent, and intentionally paced.

Fielia’s supper theatre isn’t “dinner with a chef.” It’s dinner with a heartbeat. A room where the lights feel warmer, the conversations linger longer and the food doesn’t just arrive — it enters.

“Food has always been my way of telling stories,” says Chef Avinash Martins, the most distinguished voice in Goa cuisine “This time, I’m bringing Goa to Mumbai — not just through flavour, but through feeling. With Supper Theatre at Fielia, the idea is to make every course a scene, every ingredient a memory, and every moment at the table part of the narrative. It begins playful, turns soulful, and ends beautifully.”

The menu itself reads like a script written for the senses — bold, whimsical and quietly seductive. Over seven courses, Chef Martins brings dishes with titles like Poder Poder Ponk PonkPaint My LovePicnic at the Farm, and The Shepherds of Netravali, each crafted to reveal flavour in layers, and meaning in pauses. It’s a table where coconut carpaccio arrives like art, pumpkins and jackfruit are treated like treasure, and spice isn’t just heat — it’s history.

And because no great story is complete without a little scandal, the evening is anchored by two signature cocktails created for the experience — designed to match the rhythm of the meal and the mood of the room. Think of them not as drinks, but as scenes: one to open the night, and one to blur the line between “dinner” and “after.”

For Dhaval, the intention behind Supper Theatre is simple: to give Mumbai a night it can’t replicate anywhere else — because the magic lies in the live moment.

“We wanted to create something that feels rarer than a reservation,” says Dhaval Udeshi, Co-Founder Fielia. “Supper Theatre at Fielia is about precision, storytelling, and that intimate energy you only get when a room is fully present. It’s not loud. It’s not rushed. It’s immersive, elevated, and deeply human — the kind of evening you leave thinking about the next day.”

With limited seating, two nights only, and a menu designed exclusively for this debut, Fielia’s Supper Theatre promises a new kind of luxury — one that isn’t announced, but felt. A dinner that doesn’t try too hard… because it doesn’t have to.
