You don’t have to travel to France to get the taste of French wines, early dark wines are meant to be the taste of French as they have not only got the approval of wine experts but also have collaborated with Vignobles Arbeau.
Early Dark boasts of their hand-made label of wines in collaboration with Vignobles Arbeau, the award-winning winemakers from France. Vignobles Arbeau, a multiple award-winning winemaker exports wines to more than 35 countries worldwide. The Arbeau family has been making quality wines for 5 generations and has been farming sustainably since 1998.
This carefully curated portfolio of wines under Early Dark has 6 labels of wine. Reserve Range of 3 varietals & Blends and a special Regional Range of another 3 varietals. The Syrah – Negrette – Gamay red wine in their Reserve Range has won many awards, which has been rated at 90 points by Wine Enthusiast, 86 points by Guide Gilbert & Gaillard, and a Silver medal at the Concours Elle à table.
These wines have been produced in the celebrated vineyards near Bourdeaux in the Sud Quest region of France. These vineyards follows traditional wine-making techniques combined with a modern approach to wine-making.
Early Dark – Reserve Chateau Coutinel 2016
This beautiful wine is a brilliant dark red and the bouquet has rich blackberry, red fruits and spices with hints of violets and liquorice. The gloriously perfumed character of the red and black fruit carries through on to the palate, and finishes with both tension and balance – with a perfect combination of acidity and silky tannins.
Early Dark – Reserve Geraud Arbeau Bordeaux Rouge 2016
The Merlot displays softer notes of fruits, spices and ripeness, while the Cabernet Sauvignon provides powerful structure and deep flavors. This wine is concentrated, powerful and firm, yet the tannins are soft and well-integrated.
Early Dark – Reserve – Sauvignon Blanc 2017
A full- flavored wine displaying intense aromas of grapefruit along with other exotic fruits and apples. The taste lingers on the palate – finishing with hints of green apple and guava, and a balanced yet refreshing acidity.
Early Dark – Cabernet – Merlot 2017
Made from one of the all-time great wine varietal pairings – Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The smell is fruity and aromatic, with some earthy and savory notes on the palate before the juicy black fruits, plum and some spices shine through. It has a finish which is concentrated yet supple.
Early Dark – Chardonnay 2017
This is an utterly delicious, Zesty and aromatic white wine with a bright golden yellow color. The bouquet is complex and delicate with white flowers, Vanilla and toasty aromas with undercurrents of banana and exotic fruits.
Early Dark – Rose 2017
To maintain the aromas, the grapes are harvested early in the morning and immediately taken to the press to reduce the risk of oxidation. After cold stabilization, the wines ferment slowly. This beautiful rich pink wine has lots of red fruits aromas like strawberry and raspberry and is fresh and fruity with a pleasant lingering finish.
