Breaking!

This holiday season, Cahoots invites the city to raise a glass to the cosmos with Celestial Spirits — the Navagraha-inspired cocktail menu curated by India’s legendary mixologist, Yangdup Lama, co-founder of Sidecar and fondly known as The Spirited Monk.

Rooted in Indian mythology and powered by Lama’s signature finesse, this menu transforms planetary energy into flavour profiles — bold, thoughtful, and beautifully cosmic. TheStyle.World team dropped by to experience the magic, and here are the cocktails that truly stood out.

EMERALD COOLER — Mercury’s Spark in a Glass

If Mercury had a flavour, this would be it.
The Emerald Cooler is a crisp, zesty burst of energy — gin sharpened with green apple shrub, balanced with fresh basil, and lightly lifted with tonic fizz.

It lands bright and herbaceous, the kind of drink that wakes the senses before you even take the second sip. The burnt apple edge adds a clever contrast, mirroring Mercury’s quick, restless brilliance.
Refreshing, curious, and clever — the kind of cocktail you keep returning to.

MYSTIC MIST — A Soft Drift Into the Unknown

Inspired by Ketu’s ethereal aura, Mystic Mist feels like it floats onto your palate.
The drink blends coconut-washed gin, clarified pineapple, thyme, and a dreamy layer of orgeat cream — silky, fragrant, and almost meditative.

The turmeric-beetroot-guava dust on top adds a gentle, golden complexity that settles like cosmic fog.
It’s subtle but memorable — a cocktail for those who like layered, poetic sips that reveal themselves slowly.

SHADOW TAIL — Sweet, Spicy, and Deliciously Dark

Rahu is all mystery, and Shadow Tail captures exactly that.
Built on dark rum, stirred with a rich tamarind-jaggery cordial, and finished with ginger ale, this cocktail is sweet, spicy, tangy, and mischievous all at once.

It’s bold, dramatic, and instantly addictive — the kind of drink that pulls you back in, just like Rahu’s gravitational intrigue.
If you love tangy, spice-forward cocktails, this is your planet.

The Food to Pair the Stars With

Cahoots’ kitchen matched the bar’s inventive storytelling with plates that were hearty, flavourful, and perfect for sharing.

Zaikedar Tandoori Aloo

Potatoes stuffed with soft cottage cheese, flavoured with roasted garam masala and Kashmiri chilli, baked beautifully in the tandoor.
Smoky, comforting, and full of spice — a crowd favourite.

Crumbed Onion Rings

Panko-crusted, crispy, and served with a spicy chilli drizzle. Simple, crunchy, and addictive with cocktails.

Loaded Veg Nachos

A reliable classic for a table of many — generous, cheesy, and perfect between sips.

FOR MAINS- Palak Paneer with Butter Roti and Naan

A warm, comforting main that hits all the right notes with its creamy spinach base and soft paneer.

DESSERT- Mysore Pak Cheesecake

While deliciously creamy and well-made, it lacked the signature Mysore Pak flavour.
Still a satisfying dessert, though a different name might set better expectations.

A Menu of Mixology and Magic

With the Navagraha menu, Cahoots and Yangdup Lama have crafted a cocktail experience that strikes a rare balance — deeply rooted in Indian mythology yet refreshingly modern in execution.

From the herbaceous spark of
Emerald Cooler to the meditative hush of Mystic Mist and the bold pull of Shadow Tail, each drink tells a story worth sipping. This season, step into Cahoots, pick your planet, and let the universe pour you a drink.
