The 2nd Anniversary Special Menu is a limited-time offering that reflects Journal’s journey so far, drawing from familiar comforts while introducing a few new elements meant to be enjoyed slowly.
True to the café’s philosophy, the anniversary menu isn’t about excess or reinvention. Instead, it leans into refinement, dishes that feel generous, familiar, and reassuring. The food selection includes a Carbonara Pizza with classic carbonara sauce, crispy bacon, parmesan, and fresh mozzarella, alongside a Truffle Mushroom Pizza layered with white sauce, button mushrooms, olives, and truffle oil. For those who prefer bolder flavours, the Spicy Tofu Pizza brings together pan-seared tofu, peri peri, and mixed vegetables.
Sandos, a favourite at Journal, features prominently. The Egg Tamago Sando pairs creamy boiled egg with honey parmesan mustard on soft milk bread, while the Tofu Katsu Sando offers pan-fried tofu, peri peri, sriracha mayo, and milk bread, both designed as easy, comforting plates that suit any time of day. The menu ends on a familiar note with a Mud Cake Slice, rich and fudgy, finished with dark chocolate and coffee rum.
The beverage menu continues to spotlight Journal’s coffee-forward identity. Cold options include House Matcha, Valencia Iced Latte, Honey Cream Oat Milk Latte, and Banana Iced Latte, while hot classics such as Café Mocha, Cappuccino, and Latte remain staples. A dedicated coffee mixology section introduces the Yuzu Cold Brew Tonic and Spicy Jamun Cold Brew Tonic, complemented by refreshing iced teas like Strawberry Hibiscus Iced Tea and Spicy Jamun Iced Tea.
